I recently worked as a makeup artist on a photo shoot with Masci Hair and Spa in hopes they take home the award for the L'Oreal Hair awards, best: cut, colour and styling. We styled and photographed 8 gorgeous girls from Viviens and Chadwicks model management, over a two day period. I throughly enjoyed working with the team from Masci Hair, I have know the girls for several years now, and are a lot of fun to work with! I love silly farm! They have just about every supply that a face painter would desire. Best to do your shopping in bulk and save on postage and handling rather than buying every time you need a new colour.. that could be expensive! My favourite paints are the kryolan. I bought the 2.5oz, I cut the colours in halve or 4 quarters, so I could utilize one 2.5oz container with up to 4 colours, which sits in a Paradise Empty Pro Palette. Some other supplies I recommend: Paradise Detailz and brushes, snazaroo sponges and mama clowns glitter! Have fun shopping ;0)

James and Shelley were very busy painting this year for the Common Wealth Bank at the Chinese New Year's celebration in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. This year's 2011 zodiac animal is, the year of the Rabbit! We had rabbits on the run, rabbits munching on carrots, rabbits breathing fire and rabbits cuddling the CBA logo... all in all we had lots of wascally wabbits! The weather held up most of the day, but we did have 1 shower, which I think we squeezed in about 100 people under our little marquee. There was so much to experience, such as dragon parades, lion dances, amazing culinary foods, singing, calligraphy and karaoke. Im very much looking forward to next years event!

WoW, now this was a busy event!!! Two days of face painting, March the 5th & 6th for the Bank of Cyprus at the Greek Festival on Londesdale street CBD. It is so much fun being apart of a cultural festival. Getting to experience the food, the language, dancing and the music. The Zorba till you drop was insane! All ages were up on the stage dancing for their life to win a ticket to Greece.. people actually train year round in hopes of winning. Later in the day when taking a break from painting, I see all my little creations in the crowd having a ball, some designs still in tact and others completely smeared from food, slobber and saliva.. its very funny; sometimes I say "come by the marque so I can fix up your teeth".
